We are obsessed with all things ballet at this house (well us ladies are at least). There is something so lovely to me about watching a gorgeous ballet and the lines of these amazing and talented dancers.  If you didn't get an opportunity to enjoy the Nutcracker ballet this holiday season (and if you didn't...why not?), the Ovation Network (check your local channel and listings here) is showing several different versions of the Nutcracker all Christmas Eve and day long. I could watch them all (again).

I realize I haven't posted in a while.  I been a little preoccupied growing a  baby due this spring.  Speaking of which, he is a little boy.  And I think he really needs this onesie

And speaking of etsy...my shop is empty and has been for a while. Not sure how long my self proclaimed hiatus will last. I hope not too long. I miss being creative.

During a recent shopping trip to Anthropologie, I picked up this book and started thumbing through it while I was waiting in line.  

Their tricky marketing ploy worked.  I loved the book and bought it.  How could I pass it up when it started out like this:  

" The first time you hold your newborn baby in your arms, the road ahead looks endless.  But the reality is that life passes quickly, and that sweet-faced infant will be in your care only a fraction of time.  It is so important to spend your moments with your children well"...

It is perfect if you need some creative FHE ideas or just need fun activities to do with your kids. Here is just a tidbit..

Project Runway

This season snuck up on me!  I have to say that I don't think anything can live up to the joy of watching past season contestants like Christian, Daniel V. or Santino.  We will see.  Blaine may provide some crazy entertainment.  Some of the designers on this season seam (pun intended)to be very talented.  I have to say though...This won?!?

I like the skirt, but the shirt was not lovely to me.  

I adored this one!  So pretty...even with lettuce & tomatoes!

But this was actually my favorite..

Again, I am hooked!  

I <3 Pretty Dresses!

I am always on the lookout for pretty dresses for myself.  I found this dainty dress at the British shop CabbageandRoses and it hit the mark perfectly!!  I especially love that she is wearing it with Wellies!  

My poor neglected blog!

I haven't forgotten about you.  I am just overwhelmed with dainty things and not sure what to post next!  I guess I will start with this:

I just bought this ADORABLE flower from the louandlee etsy shop found here!  I bought the clip instead of the headband because I truly cannot decide whether I want it or I will give it to the girlie.  I need fancy things for my hair too because I just did this to it...

(And to avoid any confusion, I am not Audrey Tautou.  I just have her haircut)

Resort Collection 2009

The 2009 Resort Fashion shows have begun and I can't tell you how delighted I was with some of the collections. They had clothes modest enough that I could actually wear them! (This is in no way implying that I could actually afford them of course!)
